about

The original version of this song was recorded in 1997 and released a year later on the Last True Family Man album, it was made as the Accidentally Classic album was well received and that album was more electronic and had less breaks and samples in it. I thought the Family album needed a similar vibe so I kept that track for that project. Over the years many people expressed interest in the song and it was re-released on vinyl in Ireland on the Earwiggle label. I felt it was time for a remix and new comer artist James Bacon in France did an amazing remix which inspired me to take another look at the song as well. It was a bit challenging as there were no parts for the song so everything had to be done using pieces from the original version. As a special almost 30 year anniversary treat we have an absolutely astounding masterpiece of razor bladed multi edits chopped to clinical perfection by none other than the east coast legends The Bladerunners prepare to have you mind blown!!
